Real Results You Will Notice

Gumline before and after consistent use.

One brush. The whole gumline.

Receding gums are what brings most people here — but the same two minutes a day looks after everything that comes with them.

OralLux supports the health of the gum tissue you have. It is not a treatment for gum disease and does not replace care your dentist has recommended.

90 days of gum recovery.

From sore, swollen-looking gums toward a firmer, healthier-looking gumline. Here is how that progress tends to unfold, stage by stage.

Day 101

Where you are now.

Sore, puffy-looking gums that may bleed when you brush, or seem to be creeping back from the teeth.

Cross-section illustration of a tooth with inflamed, swollen gum tissue
Day 1: Inflamed

The starting point

Plaque gathers at the gum margin and just beneath it, where irritation builds. Brushing alone doesn’t always reach everything that’s driving it.

Week 202

The first thing to shift.

After a fortnight of not missing a session, many people notice the tenderness and puffiness starting to settle.

Cross-section illustration of a tooth with less inflamed gum tissue
Week 2: Easing

Less in the sink

Usually the earliest change anyone reports: what you rinse away in the morning starts looking different.

Month 103

Colour starts coming back.

Redness tends to fade. Gums often begin to look more settled where they meet each tooth.

Month 1: Calmer

Calmer gums

A healthier pink starts replacing the angry red. Around here it becomes something you can see in the mirror rather than just feel.

Month 304

A firmer, healthier-looking gumline.

Keep the routine and the tissue tends to look firmer, the puffiness looks reduced, and the whole margin sits more settled against the teeth.

Month 3: Settled

The 90-day mark

Less soreness and a firmer-looking gumline — and a difference your hygienist is in a far better position to judge than you are.

Answers to your questions

When will I see results?

Breath and how the gumline feels through the day are usually first, inside the first week or two. Most people notice something change in what they spit somewhere around weeks three to six.

The kind of difference you’d want your hygienist to comment on takes longer. Gum tissue turns over slowly and a full cycle runs into months — which is exactly why the guarantee is 90 days and not 30.

How often should I use it?

Twice a day, morning and night, for the full two-minute cycle. It replaces the brush you’re using now rather than adding a step. Consistency is the whole mechanism — three good days and four missed ones does nothing.

Does it hurt?

No. The light is low-intensity and non-thermal — it’s light, not a laser, and you won’t feel heat from it.

If anything, people with tender gums tend to find it gentler than what they were using before. Soft DuPont filaments, and a Sensitive mode for the days your gums are having none of it.

Will it work if my gums have already receded?

OralLux supports the health of the gum tissue you still have. It cannot regrow tissue that’s already gone — nothing you can buy can, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.

What it’s for is looking after what’s still there.

Can it replace treatment my dentist has recommended?

No, and please don’t use it that way. If you’ve been diagnosed with gum disease or had a procedure recommended, keep seeing your dentist and follow their advice.

OralLux is a daily care device that sits alongside professional treatment, never instead of it.

Can I use it with braces, implants, crowns or veneers?

Yes. Soft filaments and sonic motion are safe around all of them. If you have a specific concern about your own situation, ask your dentist first — they know your mouth and we don’t.

How long does the battery last?

Around twenty days of twice-daily use per charge, with the light running every session. It sits on a wireless charging base — drop it on overnight and forget about it. Enough for most trips without packing the base at all.

How do I clean it, and how often do I replace the head?

Rinse the head under warm water after each use and stand the brush on its base. The body is IPX7 waterproof so it can be rinsed fully — just don’t put any part of it in a dishwasher or steriliser.

Replace the head every two to three months, same as any toothbrush. The Complete Kit ships with six months’ worth.

Can it help with bad breath?

Persistent bad breath usually comes from plaque sitting at and just under the gumline. That’s what the sonic cleaning is for — up to 38,000 strokes a minute lifts the film a manual brush pushes around.

Most people notice breath before they notice anything else, which is why it’s the first thing on our 90-day timeline.

What if it doesn’t work for me?

Email us within 90 days and we refund you in full. No return shipping, no forms, and you keep the brush — we don’t want a used toothbrush back.

The first brush I actually look forward to

At 42, I had accepted that seeing a little pink in the sink was just normal for me. After making this my morning and evening brush, my gums started looking calmer and brushing feels much more comfortable. The red light does not add another step, which is probably why I have stayed consistent.

OralLux

We love hearing that the routine feels easy to maintain, Amanda. Thank you for making OralLux part of your mornings and evenings.

My mouth feels calmer in the morning

I used to wake up with that heavy, stale feeling even when I brushed before bed. Now my mouth feels noticeably fresher when I wake up, and my gumline does not look as puffy to me. It feels like I finally upgraded the whole routine instead of simply buying another toothbrush.

OralLux

A routine that still feels fresh the next morning is a wonderful win. Thank you for sharing your experience, Jennifer.

Gentle enough for my sensitive gumline

Most electric brushes feel too aggressive around the bottom of my teeth, so I usually end up going back to a manual brush. The sensitive setting on this one feels controlled rather than weak. My teeth still feel smooth afterward, but my gums do not feel punished.

OralLux

Comfort should never mean compromising on that clean feeling. We are so glad the sensitive setting suits you, Melissa.

No extra step to remember

I liked the idea of red-light oral care but knew I would never use a separate mouth tray every night. Having it built into the brush is what made sense to me. I brush for two minutes like I normally would, and that is the entire routine.

OralLux

That simplicity is exactly what we wanted the experience to feel like. Thank you, Rachel.

A better routine before my next cleaning

My hygienist had been encouraging me to pay more attention to my gumline, especially around two stubborn areas. This brush has made me much more deliberate without making the routine complicated. I actually feel prepared for my next appointment instead of nervous about it.

OralLux

Feeling confident about your routine matters so much. Thank you for sharing that, Stephanie.

I was skeptical about the red light

Honestly, I bought it because I needed a new electric brush and was curious about the light. It took me a few days to get used to the slimmer head, but now I prefer how precisely it reaches along my gumline. I cannot speak to every claim yet, but it is easily the nicest brush I have owned.

OralLux

We appreciate the honest first impression, Lauren. Giving the slimmer head a few days is great advice for new users.
